In this exhibition I show the work I have done expressing the pain and angst I have suffered, along with the journey towards a healing. Nowadays I am exploring healing through discovering the lifeforces of nature via intuitive painting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Appealing in my own way for folks to discover the healing of the spiritual life forces of our Mother Earth.  We are required to heal ourselves first, as we can then heal our home, Earth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biography <\/h5>\n\n\n\n

My dear Dad was my first art teacher. He taught me perspective and drawing skills. I got plenty of drawing and singing (waitaia, haka) learning from my teacher Mr Maui Rivers of his Ngapuhi iwi, a similar culture to my Maoridom, at my South Auckland primary school and Otahuhu College.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Art was all that I excelled in.  Fast forward\u2026 when I became crippled again in 2000, I figured that\u2019s it, I\u2019m buggered, couldn\u2019t work anymore as a quirky innovative art teacher at FAC. There\u2019s no Disability Access.                   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I began my own art Gallery in my cottage.  It has been a success. I was a bush curator and hanger, twisting a piece of wire onto a venetian blind chord, and it\u2019s up.                                 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 My two art signs hang chained to my verge tree. Welcoming people to make an appointment to view.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
